Copper Earrings no.2

These hexagonal copper earrings hang on sterling silver hooks. They are colored using a technique called "flame painting". Using a torch, and with careful heat control, the copper is heated to different temperatures, causing an array of colors to rise to the surface. The color is preserved using a jewellery-grade sealant.
 
The color changes depending on the vieweing angle and amount of light hitting it. Colors may slightly vary and look different in person versus your screen.
