Matte creme and blue

Large enamel earrings on sterling silver studs.  The glass enamel starts off as a colored glass powder, which is applied on a copper surface and fired in a kiln. Successive layers of powder are applied and fired in order to obtain the marbling effect seen on these earrings.  These earrings feature a matte texture, obtained by applying an etching cream on top of the glass.
